CONSTRUCTION:  Traditional plank on frame construction, native white cedar on steam bent oak  frames, bronze fasteners, decks- marine plywood covered with Dynel and epoxy, spars solid varnished spruce, exterior trim varnished mahogany

 

INTERIOR JOINERY AND FINISH: seats and cockpit floor painted, all traditional bronze hardware, varnished mahogany  transom

 

DECKS:  Marine plywood with epoxy and cloth , painted with marine enamel finish

 

STANDING AND RUNNING RIGGING:  Varnished solid spruce spars (9 fresh coats of varnish Spring '09) with stainless steel rigging

 

STEERING: Tiller

 

EQUIPMENT: Galvanized trailer

 

SAILS: Main and jib , sail area: 133 sq. ft

 

COMMENTS: This boat is a fine example of the Joel White design Haven 12 ½ . It was awarded the 'Best new design in traditional construction' award at the 1994 Mystic Seaport Wooden Boat Show. The boat is in very nice condition, She has been lightly used and stored indoors
