The International One Design class is considered a classic today reminiscent of yachting's "golden age". There are still active racing fleets today in Europe and North America and to name a few; Northeast Harbor, Maine, San Francisco (www.sfiod.org), Marblehead, MA (www.marbleheadiod.org), Bermuda (www.iodfleet.bm). Fisher’s Island, NY, Long Island, NY, Nantucket, MA and Nova Scotia, Canada.
