CONSTRUCTION: Beautifully crafted African mahogany on white oak laminated frames perfectly fitted “edged” planks brightly finished that shows absolutely no flaws. Back bone and keel also white oak with bronze fasteners. Also mahogany cabin trunk, toe rails and coamings. Decks are plywood covered with dynel cloth and saturated with epoxy. A real piece of art that someone once called her "a floating piano".
ACCOMODATION: Simple cuddy with varnished sole offers stowage for gear, a cooler or a portable potty.
PLUMBING: Manual bilge pump.
STEERING: Varnished ash tiller.
RIGGING: Lovely varnished spruce hollow spars including spinnaker pole, whisker pole, stainless steel rigging. Two chrome Soutcoast snubbing winches. Dacron running rigging and boom roller furling mainsail. Adjustable car genoa track.
SAILS: Dacron mainsail 1997; working jib; 160% genoa (excellent condition); nylon radial head spinnaker 1982 by Fortune Sailmaker.

COMMENTS: “Freyja" has been maintained professionally for a meticulous owner that appreciates quality and lovely sailboats. Nothing was spared on her maintenance and her looks over the years to keep her as original as possible. This daysailer sloop was built by world renowned German Yacht Builder Abeking and Rasmussen better know in America for the famous run of Concordia Yawls that they built in the 50's and 60's. With the boat come original documentation, architectural drawings, class history and letters from the builder.
