CONSTRUCTION: Strip plank wood construction with select Maine pine. Keel, ribs, floors, stem and transom are white oak and bronze fastened. Painted cedar decks trimmed with white oak that is britghtly finished. Transom is also nicely varnished with custom bronze lettering. Interior hull surfaces, console and cabinetry are all painted white (Awlgrip). Cockpit soles are oiled teak. Hull topsides are sprayed Awlgrip white.
EQUIPMENT: Full dodger, console cover & moring cover (dark green). Custom varnished boat hook/paddle in stowage rack. Ground tackle, fenders, dock lines and miscellaneous gear and spares. Two "director" type folding teak and canvas chairs. Ensign with varnished teak staff on stern deck and yacht club burgee with staff on fore deck.
COMMENTS: This classic lovely and professionaly maintained Hampton is in like new condition. Stored indoors, most painted and varnished surfaces have been recently redone. The transom was striped and re-varnished last winter. The teak soles were also sanded and beautifully refinished with teak oil. Also noteworthy is only 192 hours on engine, a new propeller, new "Spur" cutter on shaft, new zincs, partial rewiring, new bronze raw water strainer and new bilge pump.
